Haiti: New National Network
A significant new chapter is unfolding for Christian Endeavor in Haiti with the establishment of a national network designed to mobilize, train, and connect leaders across the country. At the heart of this initiative is the training of 600 leaders using the Advocate’s Guidebook, equipping them to strengthen their local churches and integrate them into a unified national movement.
This effort is being led by Pastor Mathias Ysnor, who is committed to expanding the capacity of CE Layitel throughout Haiti. His vision includes building a strong and sustainable structure that reaches deep into the country’s communities. To that end, he has already laid the groundwork for a CE presence in 540 communes and established a national training center dedicated to equipping pastors and youth leaders for effective ministry.
A central component of the strategy is the mobilization of young people. Participants will undergo three months of focused training and will then be sent out to engage in evangelism and church planting. These efforts are expected to result in the formation of new churches, driven by locally trained and missionally minded leaders.
Progress made in the Dominican Republic
Christian Endeavor is advancing its presence in the Dominican Republic through a strategic blend of virtual awareness sessions and in-person leadership training. The initiative centers on a two-day, retreat-style gathering—planned for a Friday and Saturday—designed to fully engage approximately 30 pastors and youth leaders in focused learning and collaboration.
These participants are being equipped to serve as ambassadors for a developing Church Multiplication Network.Key insights from early conversations highlight the importance of clearly defining the role of a Christian Endeavor youth leader within the local church and demonstrating the tangible benefits CE brings to participating ministries.
This has shaped a collaborative approach in which the local church will provide the venue, lodging, meals, and invite partner ministries, while Christian Endeavor will supply trained facilitators and resources.
Logistical planning is currently underway, with local leadership exploring venue options and timelines. The gathering is tentatively projected for October, or early 2027 if needed, with further evaluation scheduled in an upcoming planning meeting. Overall, this effort reflects a growing alignment between local leaders and Christian Endeavor’s vision to establish sustainable, multiplying ministry networks.
Youth growing in faith in Germany
From April 30 to May 3, 2026, the EC Festival (Christian Endeavor – CE Germany) in Baunatal near Kassel became a place where something deeply spiritual happened.
Around 2,000 young people gathered—not just to attend an event, but to encounter Jesus, to rediscover hope, and to experience what it truly means to live a life decided for Christ.
For four days, the vision of the global Christian Endeavor (CE) movement came alive:
Young people growing in faith, strengthening one another, and being equipped to serve Christ in their generation.
Annual CE Golf Tournament in the US
The 14th Annual CE Golf Tournament took place at Honeybrook Golf Club in Pennsylvania on May 13. With 187 registered golfers and more than $50,000 raised for CE, we are praising God for His faithful provision and the generosity of everyone who participated.
These funds will help advance Christian Endeavor's mission of reaching, discipling, and equipping young people for Christ through our global ministry as we partner with believers around the world to share the hope of the Gospel and strengthen the next generation of Christian leaders.

CE Bhutan: Multiple denominations
Through the intentional leadership of Reverend Surendra Sahu and prior groundwork with local leaders, 24 participants from Presbyterian, Baptist, Pentecostal, and Independent House Church backgrounds gathered with a shared hunger to grow and collaborate. Representing a wide range of ages and regions, they engaged deeply—asking thoughtful questions, taking notes, and embracing the vision of Christian Endeavor.
Youth Growth as Christ-like leaders in Hawai'i
During Spring Break 2026, youth and advisors from across Hawaiʻi gathered in Miloliʻi for the Christian Endeavor Hawaii Spring Camp, centered on the theme "E Ola Pono: Live Above Reproach" from 1 Timothy 4:12. Throughout the week, campers participated in engaging workshops, Hawaiian cultural activities, worship, and fellowship, while learning what it means to be examples of Christ in their speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.
The camp provided opportunities for spiritual growth, leadership development, and meaningful connections with fellow believers, encouraging young people to grow as Christ-like leaders and to live out their faith with integrity in their homes, schools, churches, and communities. The weekend was filled with learning, laughter, and inspiration as participants embraced the call to E Ola Pono—Live Above Reproach.
The World Convention is happening in 2028
The CE World Convention, previously scheduled for July 2027 in Yerevan, Armenia, has been postponed to July 2028. Armenia remains our host nation, and our local committee, led by President Raffi Masserlian and Pastor Datev Basmajian, remain deeply committed to welcoming the global CE family.
The decision was not made lightly. The geopolitical turmoil affecting much of our world, particularly in the Middle East and surrounding regions, has placed significant strain on travel, communication, and the daily lives of many in our CE family. Friends and leaders across multiple continents are navigating real hardship right now, and we felt it was both wise and prudent to postpone the World Convention for one year — for our host committee, for our national leaders, and for the delegates we hope to bring together.
We want to be clear: this is not a cancellation. The vision stands. The call to gather the global CE family to celebrate, to worship, to align, and to be sent is stronger than ever. In the coming weeks, we will be sharing a more detailed follow-up communication that addresses the specific organizational and logistical questions this change raises, particularly about nominations and elections for CE’s global leadership. We know you may have questions, and we want to answer them well.
For now, we ask for your prayers for our host committee in Lebanon, for our friends in regions experiencing hardship, and for our leadership team as we navigate this season with wisdom.
CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOR MAY > JULY UPDATES
Over the past three months, Christian Endeavor has experienced significant momentum across multiple regions, marked by both deepened partnerships and strategic expansion into new countries.
In Asia, prior relational groundwork by local leaders led to a highly engaged gathering of 24 participants from diverse church backgrounds, culminating in the formation of a representative national board and a contextualized pathway for introducing CE within local church structures.
At the same time, a 12-day leadership and assessment trip across Ghana, Rwanda, and Ethiopia strengthened existing networks and sparked new growth, with expanded district presence in Ghana, emerging national coordination in Burkina Faso, powerful testimonies of life transformation in Rwanda, and new training opportunities in Ethiopia amid a rapidly growing, youth-heavy population.
Beyond these regions, CE has entered a new chapter of expansion with the birth of national networks in Haiti and Bhutan, including the large-scale training of 600 leaders in Haiti and ongoing plans for structured, retreat-based leadership development. Also, huge developments have been made in the Dominican Republic with several meetings with local leaders and an upcoming training already scheduled for late 2026 or early 2027.
Across all contexts, a clear pattern is emerging: leaders are willing to take the movement to the next step, collaboration across denominations is increasing, and there is a growing emphasis on sustainable, locally rooted models of youth discipleship—despite logistical challenges and global travel difficulties—pointing to a season of both spiritual fruit and strategic opportunity for the movement.
